In this role, you would have an opportunity to learn about multiple therapeutic areas, travel to medical conferences and on-location filmings, and interact with leading experts in the medical field. You would also collaborate with team members to create high-quality content relevant to physician, payer, pharmacy, and/or other audiences served by our video platforms.
The Medical Writer position requires the ability to conduct research in a timely manner to gain an understanding of a particular topic, and write, edit, and review clinical content to ensure program objectives are met. We are looking for an energetic self-starter who is able develop thought-provoking discussion guides and interview questions for a variety of video-related projects encompassing multiple therapeutic areas.
The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other team members. This role may require up to 20% travel. The Medical Writer is primarily responsible for assisting the scientific content directors with the process of developing scientifically-oriented content suitable for video.

  • Perform literature reviews of disease states to understand topic
  • Generate ideas for original content that complements the editorial strategy
  • Review content outlines with leading experts and incorporate feedback to meet program objectives
  • Ensure scientific and clinical accuracy of content and relevance to target audiences
  • Ensure accuracy with respect to formatting, reference and fact checking, and style
  • Assist scientific content directors with follow-up and process management across sales, project management, video productions
  • Develop questions and interview key opinion leaders on a wide range of topics spanning multiple disease states and audiences



  • 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical education writing/editing experience
  • Knowledge across several disease states, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, neurological disorders, respiratory diseases, and infectious diseases, etc, a plus
  • Ability to interface with clients and key opinion leaders to gain insight
  • Attention to detail and exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in basic grammar and spelling rules
  • Knowledge of best practices in AMA (10th edition) style
  • Good working knowledge of technology and software, including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook or similar software
