**This position is located on-site in Cranbury, NJ**


The Editor of Dentist's Money Digest will be someone who is quick to absorb new skills and information, who doesn't flinch in the face of a challenge, and who is willing to take initiative to develop the Dentist's Money Digest brand and content. This editor should have top-notch writing and editing skills, as their time will be split evenly between both roles. They also should be a digital native, as comfortable crafting a concise story as they are at tweets, Facebook updates and short video clips, all of which must be created with dentists in mind. Additional responsibilities will include creating and proofing email newsletters, conducting and filming video interviews, and traveling to dental conferences. Dentist's Money Digest is the go-to news and information resource for the business-minded dentist, so experience in covering dentistry, personal finance, investing and general business are a must.

  • Identify important dental business news and write search engine optimized articles daily
  • Keep current on developments and trends in dentistry
  • Work with editorial team to develop compelling content for dentists and affiliated dental professionals, including special features, website highlights, conference coverage, and videos interviews
  • Post and edit content for website using content management system
  • Help maintain social media accounts and develop compelling email subjects/content
  • Able to travel 10% of the time to attend professional conferences and film dentists and other affiliated dental professionals
  • Attend major dental meetings to report relevant findings and conduct video interviews



  • Minimum of BA/BS or equivalent editing/journalism experience
  • 3+ years writing/publishing experience related to dentistry, personal finance, or investing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment, meeting tight deadlines and high expectations
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, AP Style, and search engine optimization techniques
