The Staff Accountant, Live Events is responsible for performing all day to day and month end accounting functions related to the company's Live Events.



  • Communicate with department team members to maintain accurate and current information regarding specific meeting budgets
  • Complete program closeouts within 30 days of program completion date
  • Completion of program budgets in conjunction with the Project Managers and submit via ReqLogic for routing approval
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for each individual meeting
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and other various reports
  • Process bank deposits and reconcile bank statements
  • Coding and processing of accounts payable invoices
  • Analytical reporting
  • Assist in budget and forecast preparation for individual meetings
  • Work closely with VP of Live Events to develop annual meeting forecasting
  • Ad hoc requests from VP of Live Events, VP of Finance, Controller and Accounting Manager
  • Oversee department-wide credit card reconciliation each month. Assist with HRA department credit card as it relates to conferences
  • Ensure proper coding of all invoices against GL codes for accuracy


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Intelligent, strategic and analytical thinker
  • Excellent written, communication and organizational skills
  • Project accounting experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Advance Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics a plus
