  • Responsibilities

    The Copy Writer is responsible for developing comprehensive content for each assigned account. They are accountable for content that is on strategy and contributes to growing the franchise goals. They are confident and capable of juggling several balls on a regular basis. They continually review and optimize results for every piece of creative work the team produces. They should have at least three to five years of experience in an advertising or an agency-like setting, leading creative content for multi-channeled tactics that include but are not limited to sales presentations, sales aids, patient education, journal ads, publications, website content, digital ads, video manuscripts, e-mails, and direct mail.





    • Contribute to and lead the development of creative and strategic solutions that are memorable and innovative for both internal franchises and brands.
    • Collaborate with client partners and colleagues to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned campaigns for both internal and external clients.
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of brand guidelines for our brands
    • Work with assigned art director’s franchise and project leads to generate original concepts that support product positioning and achieve objectives
    • Work closely with production to implement and monitor all projects
    • Perform miscellaneous tasks, as requested


    • Participate in the early development of new and the evaluation of existing digital assets of MJH and its external clients.
    • Meet with project team, clients, and developers for initial planning and evaluation of websites, emails, and custom digital programs from a content perspective.
    • Consider the content and message flow while building compelling, functional, and efficient digital projects and be an active participant in user experience development.
    • Work closely with the internal developers throughout the building, testing, and final release of digital projects.


    • 3 or more years of experience in promotional copywriting in pharmaceutical, or healthcare advertising
    • Proven ability for high-quality concept development
    • Experience with understanding scientific material, FDA guidelines, and developing and maintaining references for all copy material you write
    • Familiarity with FDA, DDMAC, PHARMA advertising and marketing regulations
