The role of the Independent Medical Education Associate is to acquire as much knowledge about continuing medical education (CME) as possible, while beginning to take on core responsibilities of a business development associate. The position entails learning all of PER’s offerings, becoming familiar with the healthcare and oncology/hematology landscape, and understanding the grant-supported medical education system. As an Independent Medical Education Associate, he/she will be responsible for learning all of PTCE’s core responsibilities in the medical education process, ranging from grant writing, grant submissions, activity implementation, supporter expectations, accreditation, compliance, reconciliations, and outcomes/evaluations.
