  • Responsibilities

    The Senior Medical Writer assists the Outcomes Measurement Business Unit in preparing the clinical analysis of outcomes results from CME/CE-certified activities in order to support the growth and expansion of the Accredited CME/CE Division.

    Qualifications

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports Outcomes, Medical Affairs, and Independent Medical Education Teams in summarizing the results of PER’s CME/CE activities. Examples include but are not limited to the following:
      • Keeping abreast of current data, trends, medical writing/regulatory knowledge, developments and important advances in therapeutic areas (particularly oncology) for which the company focuses its educational programming and proposals for grant funding
      • Determining areas of success once educational activities have concluded or during the lifecycle of online activities
      • Identifying areas of remaining clinical practice gaps and educational needs as a basis for future CME/CE activities based on preliminary, interim, and final outcomes results
      • May work with faculty and clinical advisory board members to discuss results/outcomes of CME/CE activities for inclusion in post-activity reporting
      • Assisting with data visualization/infographic development for inclusion in outcomes reports
      • Interacts with internal stakeholders (medical affairs, outcomes, and independent medical education staff)
      • Interacting with external faculty and clinical advisory board members
      • Independently managing day-to-day workload for assigned tasks and providing regular status updates to Outcomes Team Lead
    • Complies with Company SOPs and participates in the implementation of new SOPs.
