    The role and primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to effectively support the Strategic Alliance Partnership Program through delivery and implementation of project elements; and keep projects and all related processes running smoothly.  In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for online grant submissions.  Experience in nonprofit and nonprofit development is preferable.

    Qualifications

    This position reports to the VP, Strategic Alliance Partnerships.

     

    Specifically, the Project Coordinator will:

    • Track the alliance partnerships and our relationship with each partner, coordinating timelines, tasks and goals.
    • Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, editorial, live events, sales, circulation and the studio to fulfill our responsibilities to our partners, making sure that tasks are completed and on time.
    • Facilitate communication with our partners on a regular basis, via newsletter or periodic emails.
    • Support the administration of the program by coordinating and staffing meetings, conference calls, conference attendance planning, scheduling and travel, and other tasks as assigned.
    • Coordinate with counterparts across MJH to track and optimize the value we provide and receive through the program.
    • Submit grants through an online system.

    Tasks:

    • Coordinate program deliverables internally.
    • Manage contact lists.
    • Periodically review partner pages on our websites (including video)s to make sure content is posted on time and is current.
    • Coordinate conference participation and scheduling, including video interview scheduling.
    • Track timelines and ensure that all deadlines are met.
    • Provide onsite assistance for live video shoots-faculty logistics/catering.

     

    Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of experience; non-profit experience is preferred
    • Grant writing
    • Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
    • Accurate and detail-oriented
    • Productive, flexible, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
    • Work well under pressure and with tight deadlines
    • Ability to travel
