    The National Account Representative must be strongly motivated toward achieving a high level of success and driving revenue, believe in uncompromised customer satisfaction, and have the capacity to be effective in inter-team and cross-functional working relationships. They are accountable for expanding business and market share for HRA, developing customer contacts, assessing customer requirements and needs, and actively marketing all HRA capabilities to satisfy those needs.

    Qualifications

    Desired Skills & Experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·        Responsible for developing leads and identifying potential opportunities within well-defined accounts across the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Devices and Diagnostics areas and working with HRA leadership and client service teams to deeply penetrate those accounts

    ·        Uncover and understand client strategic imperatives, goals and research objectives

    ·        Collaborate closely with research team who will partner with you to design and sell projects that exceed client expectations

    ·        Partner across HRA to price research aligned to client budget and HRA margin goals

    ·        Partner across HRA to address client issues involving financial implications

    ·        Maintain a high level of client satisfaction

    ·        Achieve annual revenue & profit targets by accounts through effective methods (prospecting, relationship building, lead & proposal generation, tactical & consultative selling, etc.)

    ·        Work with HRA senior sales and client service teams to implement creative, effective marketing and sales programs to achieve specific individual sales revenue targets across all HRA product & service lines

    ·        Prepare and present routine account reviews to assess progress against personal sales goals & objectives

    ·        Attend healthcare seminars/conferences, as appropriate, to stay abreast of client and industry issues and enhance your sales skills

     

    Skills and Competencies:

    ·       6 – 10 years of experience selling healthcare research

    ·       Be able to demonstrate a proven book of business of at least $1MM

    ·       Possess a business owner’s mentality

    ·       Enthusiasm to seek out, or create new business opportunities

    ·       Drive, energy and a passion for excellence

    ·       Positive attitude

    ·       Creative problem solver

    ·       Ability to interact in a cross-functional team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities of the team members

    ·       Ability to monitor team’s performance against the overall client objectives to ensure unsurpassed client satisfaction

    ·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    ·       Excellent written skills with a proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

    ·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or other related field

    ·       Ability to work in a service delivery business model
