  • Responsibilities

    MJH Associates is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Team Lead. The primary responsibility of this position is to help ensure client deliverables (print, digital, video, event) are delivered in a timely manner with the highest quality possible, to maintain organization of resources, and to supervise the Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, and Project Coordinators, including assignment of workload, management of their production, and training/development.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise direct reports including:
      • Assess workloads and assign new projects as they are rolled out to the team
      • Train the Project Managers/Project Coordinators on planning and delivery of all project types
      • Supervise the Project Managers/Project Coordinators regarding prioritization, timelines and project planning, individual steps and requirements for on-time and exemplary delivery of all projects
      • Initial problem-solving for any impediments the team encounters
      • Team leadership, guidance, and leading by example, including but not limited to professionalism, achieving project delivery goals, and communication
      • Organize weekly business unit meeting agendas for assigned franchise:
        • Pull all new projects that require kick off’s and ensure point of contact is prepared to address at the business unit meeting.
        • Ensure that project tracking grids are up to date and prepared for review.
      • Work with franchise point of contact point of contact to organize weekly business unit meetings agendas:
        • Help to pull all new projects that require kick off’s and ensure point of contact is prepared to address at the business unit meeting.
        • Help to ensure that project tracking grids are up to date and prepared for review.
      • Monitor and provide guidance on all team revenue expectations.
      • Attend and report out on revenue at weekly meeting.
      • Update and maintain team documents on the Project Management SharePoint site
      • Implement weekly 1:1 meetings with team members to discuss project progress, impediments to delivery and/or keeping to timelines, guidance regarding project delivery and general project management skills.
    • Manage projects; including:
      • Interface with internal team members to manage expectations and establish timelines for deliverables.
      • Oversee trafficking of projects through content, editorial, production, live events, marketing, and circulation processes, communicating with team members as needed.
      • Share project deliverables and relevant information to internal team members including updates on project status and changes in scope of projects
      • Utilize content management systems to implement digital deliverables
      • Complete quality reviews of project deliverables, ensuring applicability with project specifications and managed performance against expectations.
      • Perform other tasks required to ensure successful development and deployment of client deliverables


    In House/Miscellaneous Duties

    • Attend departmental/company meetings
    • Participate in on-going training and development


    Required Qualifications

    • Strong leadership abilities and success coaching/developing teams
    • Experience with implementing and driving process
    • Ability to manage a variety of programs including on/off site video programs, all digital and print formats, I pubs, and oversight of dinner programs series.
    • Experience with budget development and reconciliation process
    • Organized, creative, and efficient
    • Strong customer service orientation and ability to act diplomatically
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to work under deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
    • Strict attention to detail
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with proactive approach to things
    • Ability to travel/work during the week and on weekends (up to 25%)
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
    • Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree
    • Pharma experience preferred but not required
